Trademark Search Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Trademark Search Analyst to join our team in the United States. The Trademark Search Analyst will be responsible for conducting trademark searches and providing customer support for Fovea IP’s products and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of the trademark lifecycle.

Completes trademark research reports:

• Analyzes research requests and develops an effective search strategy based on trademark, goods similarity, and international classifications, as well as product scope.
• Formulates queries using various search engines such as Google and Fovea IP’s proprietary databases.
• Analyzes data retrieved and selects the most pertinent references for inclusion on trademark research reports for delivery to customers.
• Works with mentors to ensure research approach results in high quality reports.
• Provides internal feedback and recommendations to management on opportunities to improve quality or processes.

Provides customer service support through the following means:

• Answers clients’ inquiries and proactively contacts clients regarding Fovea IP’s Search products and services via written communication, in person, or over the phone.
• Answers internal questions regarding trademark research report results to colleagues.
• Follows through on client inquiries with the appropriate team member.
• Manages daily production including completing all assigned trademark research tasks according to expected delivery time frame.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in trademark analysis, intellectual property, or a related role.
• Familiarity with trademark search tools (e.g., USPTO, WIPO, or third-party platforms).
• Strong understanding of trademark creation and protection processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
