My Ordered Searches
Mission
Users can order offline searches from the Fovea IP team. Our analysts will run these searches for the users and deliver a search report which will be sent by email to the user(s) and will be available on their Fovea IP account for review.
Ordered searches can be reviewed on the Fovea IP platform with all the analysis and reporting functionalities available. The reports can be downloaded from the platform, can be shared across users and can also be shared externally with outside counsels, for example.

My Ordered watches
Mission
Fovea IP offers watching services across trademarks, company names, domain names and owner names. The watch reports are delivered to the users by email, and are also available on the Fovea IP platform in the Ordered Watches section.
The purpose of Fovea IP’s trademark watch service is to identify new trademark publications that are identical or similar to the trademark watched. Also, whenever a new watch is activated, we inform you of any past identical/similar publication for which the opposition deadline is still ongoing.

Multicriteria
Mission
Multicriteria is a module designed to manually search across the selected databases. There is no underlying automation or artificial intelligence, the users defines the search strategy to be applied.
The Multicriteria search module allows the user to search across more than 40 criteria: owner, representative, number, date, type of mark, etc.

Important:
A search on Trademark Name ROCK will allow you to retrieve trademarks ROCK or containing ROCK as a standalone word, such as ROCK THIS PARTY. It will not allow you to retrieve ROCKS or ROCKY or ROCKABILLY.

Mission
This module allows users to run word mark searches with the help of an automated search strategy which is accessible to the user and editable by the user. Wildcard characters are not supported in this module.
This module is solely dedicated to availability searching. Other types of searches (owner, numbers, dates, etc) are not supported and have to be run through the Multicriteria module.
The Word Similarity module includes 3 levels of strategy: identical phonetic, extended and similarity.
The system will adapt the search strategy based on the selected level of similarity chosen by the user, and also based on the nature of the trademark searched: number of letters, number of words, invented or existing word.

IA Figurative
Mission
This module allows user to run a Figurative search on trademark databases using our proprietary Image-recognition Technology. This search doesn’t allow for any Vienna codes. The search will be purely based on the image (and classes/registers).
The search will be run independently from colors.
IA Industrial designs
Mission
This module allows users to run an Industrial Design search using our proprietary Image-recognition technology. This technology facilitates the pre-selection of relevant results among registered designs.
The search will be run across active and inactive registered designs.
Extremely important: the Image technology can be very sensitive especially for designs (3D). Therefore, it is critical to use images of the best possible quality, with a good contrast and no disruptive elements around the object to be searched.
User should preferably use drawing(s) and photograph(s).
User can upload several views of the same object (up to 7 views). These views should have an added value to the search.
IA App Stores
Mission
This module allows users to run Image searches across mobile applications stores. These searches can come as a Common Law check, a complement to a figurative search across registered trademarks.
Multi candidates

Performing several searches in one go on different databases (Trademarks, Pharmaceuticals, Companies and domains). Allows you to directly see if the candidates get exact hits.

This alert allows you to set up a monitoring on search results.
The system allows you to be informed, at the frequency of your choice (weekly, monthly etc) of any new search results matching your search criteria.
Ex: competition watch: launch a search on an owner and set up an alert to be informed of any new entry in our database by this owner.
Ex: product watch: launch a search on a specific product and set up an alert to be informed of any new entry in our database for this product.

Hit count
The “Hit count” allows you to see how many results you get for each jurisdictions searched. We also display a hit count based on the Regions when, for example, you perform a Worldwide search.
Customized your exports
After reviewing your results, you can export a standard or customized report, export the hits in different format and languages.
My Folders
The Folders allow users to save their searches in specific files/sub-files and therefore create their own tree structure of saved searches and records.
Specific records and searches can be saved in the Folders. Folders can be shared between users.

Pharma searches via the platform
SELECT THE REGISTERS AND THE DATABASES NEEDED
The Multicriteria and Word Similarity modules allow you to perfom pharma searches separately or in combination with trademarks.
From the registers page, databases that can be combined appear with the 
icon:
Select the Trademark registers and switch to the Pharmaceutical databases to select the required databases.
Please fill out any other applicable search parameters (classes, goods and services, status, …), and when ready, click the “Search” button at the bottom of the page to launch the search:

If you search for both Trademarks and Pharma names, and would like POCA/STEM* ranking to be applied, please make sure to display the POCA/STEM* columns to the search results.
*POCA: Phonetic Orthographic Computer Analysis. It’s a crucial tool that uses algorithms to detect potential patient safety risks by checking if new drug names sound or look too similar to existing ones. POCA compares the name against a vast database of existing drug names. It calculates orthographic (written) and phonetic (spoken) similarity scores.
*STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Common drug suffix, indicating a drug’s class. Shortened syllables (prefixes, suffixes, infixes) in generic names that signal a drug’s therapeutic class (e.g., “-cillin” for penicillins).
From the search results, go to the “column” button (bottom right corner) and select “Pharma scan”. Drag and drop the column wherever you want:
Select some Pharma hits to get instant Pharma Scan. Then, click on the “Pharma Scan” button:
